Alusys, part of the AB System Group, was chosen to supply and install windows and doors in the new townhouses in Verscio, Switzerland, designed by Michele Arnaboldi Architetti SAGL.
With its long experience in aluminum windows and doors, Alusys contributed to the energy efficiency and living comfort of these modern homes.
The project involved the installation of Schuco AWS/ADS 75 SI aluminum windows and doors, known for their high thermal performance, and sliding doors and windows from the Schuco ASS 70HI series, perfect for providing large openings and a harmonious connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
This intervention ensured a balance between functionality and design, making the townhouses modern, bright, and well integrated into the surrounding architectural context.

Sunshade Slats
HELLA’s sunshades and Venetian blinds do more than just darken; they guide and dose daylight according to the user’s needs, giving comfort to living spaces and creating ideal conditions for productivity in the workplace. In addition to regulating light, these products also act on room climate, reflecting the heat of sunlight and thus contributing considerably to protection from summer heat. The louvers provide light orientation with modern, geometric optics. The AR 92 model offers a quality sunshade with edged slats 0.45 mm thick and 92 mm wide, which, in addition to ideal protection from the sun, prying eyes and heat, provide perfect room darkening. The patented stainless steel clip tape (ECN), which joins the slats, provides exact packing, perfect loop formation and, therefore, minimal package height. The sunshade slats can be operated by cable or rail, with crank or motor operation.

Schüco Window AWS 75-HI
Improved thermal insulation, safety and workmanship
The optimized Schüco AWS 75.SI+ (Super Insulation) standard window system for 75 mm building depth is part of the Schüco AWS system platform and forms the basis for a range of applications in energy-efficient building envelopes.
Depending on architectural requirements, the highly thermally insulated aluminum system can be used as a single window, strip window or insertion element for facades, as well as in combination with Schüco door systems.
An additional advantage for architects and designers is the wide range of sash openings: sliding tilt, transom fanlight, or horizontal and vertical pivoting.
A wide range of profiles is available within the system platform including corner posts, structural posts, symmetrical and asymmetrical posts, and a number of design variants and additional combinations such as solar shading and Schüco ventilation systems.
Future-oriented, the system is based on the Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) principle, making it perfect for sustainable building design with building elements tested and evaluated for harmful substances and recycling characteristics.
Raw materials are processed into products that, at the end of their life cycle, can be re-processed into raw materials with their original quality.
Schüco AWS 75.SI+ has been tested by EPEA Hamburg and certified Silver in accordance with the American Cradle to Cradle Innovation Institute’s latest C2C standard.
