Alusys collaborated on the construction of Villa Porza in Porza, Switzerland, commissioned by Seta Architecture SAGL and Corporate Deve&Recovery SA.
With well-established experience in the design and installation of aluminum windows and doors, Alusys contributed high-quality solutions aimed at efficiency and design to the project. The project involved the installation of aluminum casement frames from the Schuco AWS/ADS 75 SI series and sliding frames from the Schuco ASE 80-HI series, combined with aluminum sheet sills and exterior roller blinds. To improve energy efficiency, sheet metal sills were also installed at thermal coats.
As a result of this intervention, the villa stands out for its modern design and high energy performance, ensuring comfort and style for the interior and exterior spaces.

Improved thermal insulation, safety and workmanship
The optimized Schüco AWS 75.SI+ (Super Insulation) standard window system for 75 mm building depth is part of the Schüco AWS system platform and forms the basis for a range of applications in energy-efficient building envelopes.
Depending on architectural requirements, the highly thermally insulated aluminum system can be used as a single window, strip window or insertion element for facades, as well as in combination with Schüco door systems.
An additional advantage for architects and designers is the wide range of sash openings: sliding tilt, transom fanlight, or horizontal and vertical pivoting.
A wide range of profiles is available within the system platform including corner posts, structural posts, symmetrical and asymmetrical posts, and a number of design variants and additional combinations such as solar shading and Schüco ventilation systems.
Future-oriented, the system is based on the Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) principle, making it perfect for sustainable building design with building elements tested and evaluated for harmful substances and recycling characteristics.
Raw materials are processed into products that, at the end of their life cycle, can be re-processed into raw materials with their original quality.
Schüco AWS 75.SI+ has been tested by EPEA Hamburg and certified Silver in accordance with the American Cradle to Cradle Innovation Institute’s latest C2C standard.

The ASE 80 aluminum sliding system.HI is modular and thus customizable to one’s needs, allowing, for example, to choose the Design Line version, which features an even slimmer center post, or the mechatronic TipTronic version for automatic sash movement.

Schüco Parapet System AR FG 300

The Schüco AR FG 300 parapet combines the elegance and aesthetics of an “all-glass” solution with maximum simplicity in construction and installation.
At the same time, it provides very high performance of fall protection.
Schüco AR FG 300 can be installed on the floor, in front of the slab or embedded in the floor itself.
The latter configuration in particular emphasizes the minimalist design, with glass as the main protagonist, providing exceptional visual continuity and transparency.
In designs where the aluminum profiles are most visible, separate covers allow for the management of different finishes and colors between the inner and outer faces, for total integration with the surrounding environment.
The innovative system of adjusting and locking the glass sheet allows all installation steps to be carried out from the inside, thus ensuring more safety for the operator and faster and easier installation.
In line with the latest and most restrictive standards in terms of safety, Schüco AR FG 300 is suitable for all uses, in residential, in public or non-public offices and in buildings subject to great crowding, such as schools, restaurants, stations up to environments dedicated to large public events such as concert halls and grandstands of sports arenas.

The guided roller blind is a multi-purpose blind.
The wide range of accessories allows for different manual or motorized solutions and maneuvering choices.
Appropriately placed outside, they help decrease the percentage of solar heat transmitted by the glass, allowing considerable energy savings due to the reduced activity of air conditioning systems; or in a blackout version they are the best solution for bedrooms, conference rooms, multimedia rooms or meeting rooms that use projection equipment.
Thanks to the particularly small boxes, this version can be easily mounted with supports in the soffit of any window.
Thanks to the springs built into the box, the cables are kept in tension at all times.
An extruded drawer is used for this variant.
Side rails can be mounted directly or with spacers.
Sheets with guided side hem are especially suitable for wind-exposed places.
