Alusys, an AB System Group company, participated in the construction of Residence Kristall Domus, a modern residential complex in Masagno, Switzerland, commissioned by Liberty Immobiliare SA and Archi-tech Studio SAGL.
With solid experience in the field of aluminum windows and doors and curtain walling, Alusys provided innovative solutions for a prestigious project. The project involved the installation of aluminum casement windows and doors from the Schuco AWS 75 SI series, which are recognized for their excellent insulation properties, along with Schuco ASE 80 HI series lift-and-slide windows and doors, which offer maximum brightness and minimalist design. In addition, to enhance security and transparency, integrated glass parapets were installed on the windows and aluminum glazed parapets on the balconies.
Thermal comfort was further improved with the integration of HELLA model RS92 sunshades, which are ideal for managing natural light. The project is also distinguished by the special patterned cladding, made of satin-finished stainless steel sheet, which adds a refined and modern touch to the building’s aesthetics.

The louvers provide light orientation with modern, geometric optics. The AR 92 model offers a quality sunshade with edged slats 0.45 mm thick and 92 mm wide, which, in addition to ideal protection from the sun, prying eyes and heat, provide perfect room darkening. The patented stainless steel clip tape (ECN), which joins the slats, provides exact packing, perfect loop formation and, therefore, minimal package height.
