Alusys contributed to the construction of a newly built villa in Cadro, Switzerland, designed by architect Mario Conte.

The request was for a ventilated facade with a thermal coat underneath, combining modern design with high thermal and acoustic insulation performance

For this project, Alusys installed Alucobond panel cladding through a “structural bonding” system.
This solution made it possible to comply with the required architectural design, emphasizing contemporary design and creating a perfect integration between the interior and exterior and enhancing the natural setting of the villa.

Cucina open space

Through close collaboration with architect Conte, Alusys has created customized solutions that reflect the aesthetic and functional requirements of the project.
The result is a bright, energy-efficient villa in harmony with the surrounding landscape.

Alucubond ventilated facades

ALUCOBOND is a composite panel obtained by a continuous manufacturing process that allows it to be cut to size.
It consists of two sheets of PERALUMAN aluminum alloy – 100 (Al Mg 1 ) 0.5 mm/cad. thick coupled with an extruded black polyethylene core for a total thickness of 6 mm.
The treatment of the exposed face will be carried out by oven pre-painting in two layers based on PVDF (Kynar) resins, thickness 30 microns, applied by “coil-coating” procedure in accordance with E.C.C.A. (European Coil Coating Association) regulations.
The advantages derived from these production steps are mainly:

Technical characteristics of the product
  • Exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio.
  • Absolute surface flatness.
  • Ease of cold shaping
  • Vibration and noise absorption
  • Weather resistance and maintenance essence.
Physical characteristics of the product
  • Temperature range resistance: -50 to +80 C
  • K-value (thermal transmittance): K=5.65 -5.15W
  • Sound reduction: 25 db per 1000 Hz (DIN 4019)
  • Fire behavior classification Italy: Class 1
